Last month we started a new project for Kier Construction down in Bournemouth at the Oak Academy. On week four we have been progressing well with some early site set-up work with hoarding lines and installation of safe pedestrian access across the site.
The main challenge was primary works for 130m of Service trenching to enable the temps set-up for Kier to start demolition on the segregated part of site.
HWM used vacuum excavation to prevent live service strikes with the current works having been carried out in the school holidays to enable the safe return of pupils whilst segregated works continue over the development site.
