Phase 1.
HWM Group are pleased to be working for local developers Amiri Constructionon another exciting project with probably the best scenic view of the South coast we will see this year.
The Amiri Construction CTS project is for the design and construction of a new administration, workshop and laboratory facility on Portsdown Hill. The new development will be a two story construction which comprises of workshop assembly and storage space alongside office training facilities. The CTS development will provide 1400 m² of building floor area complete with roof terrace open space with external areas providing car parking and loading bay facilities.
HWM Group are providing all civil engineering groundworks to make the site ready for the steel frame construction.
Stage One started in June with the reduced level dig to remove previous concrete base structures, top soil and chalk. About 1500 m² of chalk has been removed for future reuse on site and stoning up began to create a stable level base with aggregate being brought in to site in readiness for foundations and drainage at Stage Two. Carpenters have been on site creating the bolt packs in readiness for the precise installation within the foundations for the steel frames.
A large soakaway system using egg crates and completion of most of the bulk earthworks will be completed at Stage Two, so stay tuned for the next video update.
